Today, the Kindergarten Yeladim learnt about how holy and special the Torah is. Because it is so special, we want it to be safe, so we keep it in a special place in the Shul (Synagogue). Our class took a trip to the Shul next door and we got a tour of the Shul. We saw where the Torah is kept and where it is read when taken out. We learnt about Simchas Torah which falls out this year this Tuesday. We celebrate the completion of the Torah which was read throughout the year and we dance with it to show how happy we are to start reading the Torah again. The Yeladim got to dance around the Shul to get ready for the big day of Simchas Torah.
