The Kindergarten Yeladim were introduced to our class Middos Program. Middos means "character traits". This is a program where every month our class discusses a certain good character trait which we try hard work on. Our theme this year is "Middos Treasure Box" because our good Middos are like treasures. Every time the children bring a Midda note from home, it is put in a special Middos treasure box and then read to the class. The first Midda we began to discuss is Derech Eretz - showing respect to parents, teachers, friends etc. We read books and talked about what we think Derech Eretz is. I'm happy to say that our Middos treasure wall is filling up real quickly.
