Writer's Wall

Kindergarten has a Writer's Wall! Now that our writing skills have enhanced over the year, we were ready to write our very first, "How To" books! First the class came up with a list of things they each knew how to do. They even demonstrated the steps for what they chose. On the first page they wrote the first step, then on the second page, the next step and finally on the last page they wrote the last step. For example, if a child chose to write about how to jump, the steps were...first we stand up, then we bend our legs, last we jump in the air. Each page has an illustration as well. Please come by and see. The children are so proud of themselves!
