In the spirit of starting kindergarten, Morah read Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten. There are areas of repetition throughout the book, so the children were glad to help and read along. As extension activities, each student had the opportunity to be an illustrator and illustrated a page showing what they did to get ready for kindergarten. We will put all of our drawings together to form our very first book made by kindergarten which will be placed in our library. We also compared Miss Bindergarten's kindergarten classroom to our own and compiled a list of similarities.
