Measurements

Kindergarten started their measurements unit! The children learned that there are many ways we can measure an object such as by using crayons, paper clips, pencils and more. We gathered many objects from around our classroom and measured them.
Our classroom rug measures 29 markers long
A book was 8 paper clips long
A piece of paper was 3 crayons long
The spray bottle was 6 paper clips long
A Fancy Nancy book was 1 1/2 colored pencils long
