We Made Butter!

Kindergarten has been learning all about Pilgrim children and their chores. Part of their chore were tying the bundles of wheat, cleaning the animal pens, churning butter, serving meals, collecting eggs from the chickens, etc. We compared our lives today to those of the Pilgrim children. We all agreed things are a lot easier today! To get an idea of how hard the people then worked to get their food, we made butter. We poured the cream into a container and each child got a turn to shake hard eventually forming butter!
